Morris Claiborne suffered a knee injury on Wednesday

Cowboys cornerback Morris CLaiborne suffered a knee injury during Wednesday’s practice, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Claiborne didn’t leave practice early, but injured his right knee while going up for a ball late in Wednesday’s afternoon practice. He was scheduled to get it X-rayed, owner Jerry Jones said, and it was unknown if he would require an MRI on it....

For 2014 Dallas Cowboys, it’s all about swagger.

The Dallas Cowboys have lacked something in recent years, and they’ve lacked it on both offense and defense. While the numbers on offense may say otherwise in recent years, this team hasn’t had that confidence that you need to have to really be a powerhouse in the NFL. In 2014 though, it’s going to be all about walking that walk, and playing with swagger. Swagger seems to be...

Claiborne: Cowboys' defensive goal is to go from worst to first

OXNARD, Calif. - Morris Claiborne acknowledges that last year was an embarrassing one for the Dallas Cowboys defense. As you're probably aware, the Cowboys finished last in the NFL in total defense, allowing 415 yards and 27 points per game. "It's definitely embarrassing," Claiborne said, "especially when you know the type of talent you have on the team, but...

Cowboys have set a crazy defensive goal for themselves

After having the 32nd ranked defense in the NFL last season, Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne says their goal is to be the top rated defense in 2014. “We were last in the league in defense and we’re trying to be No. 1,” he said, via the Dallas Morning News. “That’s our goal. We’re not shying away from it.” I wish I could agree, but I don’t see how Dallas’ defense...

Dallas Cowboys: Early impressions from training camp

The Dallas Cowboys reported to training camp on Wednesday and their first padded practice was earlier today. Training camp has started off relatively slow with not much action going on. What has been said over and over with this Cowboys team defense is the focal point. This defense was shredded all last season especially the pass defense. The Cowboys shocked many of their fans this...

Cowboys Morris Claiborne to Start Training Camp as Back-up

Expect a breakout year from Morris Caliborne; He’s ready

Cowboys fans are praying for an act of faith, or a miracle so to speak in 2014, and that miracle’s name could be Morris. Cowboys Morris Claiborne Wants Questions About His Ability to Stop

To say that Dallas Cowboys CB Morris Claiborne’s first two NFL seasons have been disappointing is pretty much a euphemism for how dismal it’s been at the professional level for the former college football standout. Claiborne has only managed two picks in the two years and missed almost half of last season with recurring hamstring injuries. That’s not the type of season that...

Why You Shouldn’t Be Discouraged About Morris Claiborne

It’s easy to be disappointed in Dallas Cowboys’ cornerback Morris Claiborne. And I get it. The Cowboys spent (essentially) a high first and second round pick on him and he has failed to live up to expectations. In two seasons, he has only two interceptions and has missed seven games due to multiple injuries. And when he has played, he hasn’t looked like the 6th overall pick...
