Jalen Guyton will begin camp on the PUP list after tearing his ACL in week three of the 2022 season. As the Chargers were taking the field for their first training camp practice of 2023, the team announced that a trio of players will be placed on the physically unable to perform list.
The Los Angeles Chargers announced Wednesday that they’ve activated WR Pokey Wilson and placed WR Jalen Guyton, DL Otito Ogbonnia and DL Austin Johnson on the active/PUP list. Guyton, 26, wound up going undrafted out of North Texas back in 2019.
Rookie wide receiver Pokey Wilson is starting his first NFL training camp on the non-football illness list. The NFL's daily transaction wire shows that the Chargers placed Wilson on the NFI list on Wednesday.
