Blake Koch Sam’s Town 300 Race Preview
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Blake Koch set a new benchmark for SR2 Motorsports at Phoenix International Raceway in last weekend’s Dollar General 200. He eclipsed the team’s best finish of 22nd place at the “Desert Jewel” with a 16th-place run. His eyes are now set on the Sam’s Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he hopes to raise the bar yet again.

Vegas sports books project modest Super Bowl win
The Baltimore Ravens won the game but the question in Las Vegas is how much was bet and won on the Super Bowl.
Bookmakers are projecting a moderate profit, despite losing big on proposition bets, including a long-shot on whether there would be a safety. Ravens punter Sam Koch took a safety for the final score with 4 seconds left.
The San Francisco 49ers started out as 4 1/2-point...

Super Bowl 47: Who's To Blame For The 49ers' Loss
The Baltimore Ravens held off the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVIII, 34-31. The Ravens dominated the 49ers on both sides of the ball from the coin toss until punter Sam Koch ran out of the side of the end zone for a safety to kill the clock down instead of punting. The 49ers played a terrible game minus the 3rd quarter after the lights came back on after a lengthy delay...

A solid first drive ended with a Sam Koch. The first down on the first drive was positive. What happened on Koch’s punt was not.
Punt returner Trindon Holliday took one back 90 yards to give the Broncos a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter.
Not a good start for the Ravens.
Bengals tie it up
It’s a tied game in Cincinnati. On their latest offensive possession, Baltimore was pushed back to their own end zone. Cincinnati took advantage.
Punter Sam Koch was only able to punt the ball out to the Ravens’ 40-yard line. Andy Dalton hit Marvin Jones for his first-career touchdown reception.
The Bengals and Ravens are tied 7-7 as this game goes to halftime.
Raiders don't blame Ravens for late fake
It seemed to be the ultimate rub-it-in indignity. Already leading by 24 points as the third quarter was winding down, the Baltimore Ravens lined up for a chip-shot field goal on one of the few times the Raiders defense managed to get off the field on third down. Holder Sam Koch, however, took the snap from center, then veered to his left, and ran into the end zone for a touchdown...

ONLINE ONLY Remember Koch's two-point play? The Steelers will
Remember Sam Koch's seemingly-unnecessary two-point conversion scored on a fake extra point in the 35-7 win over the Steelers in Week 1? You can be sure the Steelers do, and I'm guessing it will be a popular topic of discussion this week as the Ravens and Steelers gear up for Sunday night's rematch in Pittsburgh.
