Report: Shawne Merriman & WWE Part Ways

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter Former NFL star Shawne Merriman reportedly signed a deal with WWE around WrestleMania 30. He was down at the WWE Performance Center training to be a wrestler and an announcer. According to sources, Merriman is no longer under contract with WWE and has no affiliation with the company. No word on why the plans between the two fell through.
