The Buffalo Sabres have released their 2009 pre season schedule. They will play six games this year, four road contests and two home contests.
HSBC arena will host Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals on September 17. Toronto blows into Buffalo on the 23rd. Both games are 7 pm starts.

Despite two-straight non-playoff seasons, and yet another uneventful offseason, the Buffalo Sabres announced Tuesday they have capped their full-season tickets for the 2009-10 season at 14,825, a 500 ticket increase from last season.
Earlier this summer, the team announced a 95 percent season ticket renewal.
A total of 1,200 season tickets were then made available to the team...
