In number order, we continue with #25 Jerred Smithson today…2010-11 Review:Jerred Smithson played in all 82 games last season and, for the third straight year, recorded 13 points. In January, Smithson signed a two-year contract extension worth $1.6 million. Smithson led all forwards in penalty kill ice-time (2:44 avg.) and was a key contributor to the NHL’s 5th-ranked PK unit. He also led the team with a 50% faceoff percentage while shorthanded.Smithson’s shining moment came in Game 5 of the first round against Anaheim. He scored arguably the biggest goal, which came in overtime, in franchise history.
