The Ducks had six players score at least 10 goals on the season and two goaltenders with at least 15 wins each. They won the Pacific Division, yet couldn’t get out of the first round of the playoffs. It left fans saying “What the Duck?” Team Name: Anaheim Ducks Record: 30-12-6, 1st in Pacific, Lost 4-3 to Detroit in Western Conference Quarterfinals Player of the Season: Ryan Getzlaf led the team with 15 goals, 34 assists and 49 points. He topped the team with 15 points on the power play (4G, 11A) as well and was the engine on which the team drove all season. Breakout of the Season: Nick Bonino had modest numbers of 5-8–13 with a -3 rating and a career-high three power-play points. It doesn’t look like much on paper but he had only five more points in 23 more games last season. Bonino has the potential to pick up a nice pile of points in a full campaign.
