Found March 19, 2012 on Days of Y'Orr:
St. Patrick's Day is over. There will be no more green hockey jerseys. I am whole again. Another good thing about St. Patrick's Day being over is that the Bruins came away with a win against the Philadelphia Flyers and the Senators lost later that night to the Leafs (lol). Jon will be doing a weekend recap that probably includes some hockey, some boozing and some general badassery. This is the Bruins last home game until they play the Tampa Bay Rapists on March 27th. You know what that means? 3 game California road trip. I ******* hate these things man. I hate the late start times, I hate that I want to watch a team like Los Angeles Kings and even with a 9pm start, the first period won't get over until 10:15 or so. The worst will be San Jose, which doesn't start until 10:30pm. So you're looking at a 10:35/10:40pm puck drop and the first period will end about 11:30ish. That ******* blows. Especially on a Thursday night. What I don't get is that a Thursday nigh...

Tyler Seguin sending out some S’exts

How badly do you want to go on a date with Tyler Seguin? Yup. Just look at that man. I think everyone in their right mind just said “I think I would like to go on a date with that man”. Well, for all those people who said “yes”, you’re in luck. All it takes is to get text alerts from the Boston Bruins because it seems as if Tyler Seguin has been using it to try and find...

Report: Shawn Thornton Signs Two-year Extension With Bruins

Shawn Thornton leads the NHL in fighting majors this season with 19, and it looks like he'll be staving off goons for the Bruins for at least another two seasons. Thornton and the Bruins have agreed to a two-year extension worth an average of $1.1 million per season, according to the Boston Globe. The 34-year-old Ontario native has become an integral member of the Bruins team...

Bruins F Shawn Thornton gets extension

The Boston Bruins have signed rugged forward Shawn Thornton to a two-year contract extension. Thornton, who leads the NHL this season with 19 major penalties for fighting, had a career-high 143 penalty minutes entering Monday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He had four goals and eight assists this season and 29 goals, 43 assists and 759 penalty minutes in his career...

Boston Bruins Nathan Horton Looks Like Descendant Of George Washington

A.B. Hair don’t lie. These two are definitely related. Centuries apart but the same side flip mullets. There isn’t a shampoo in the world that can make your hair do that. This is genetic pure and simple. (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect...

Tyler Seguin, Bruins Showing Why There's No Room for Tim Tebow in Boston (Video)

So, that was pretty great. The Bruins dominated the first period against the Leafs and didn't really show any flaws in their game. At this point, coach Claude Julien would be wise to probably not change anything for the second period. NESN Nation's Dan Duquette is hoping the Patriots will follow a similar strategy in their offseason dealings and stay away from Tim Tebow....

Boston Bruins feel heat atop Northeast

For more than three months, the Boston Bruins have sat atop the Northeast Division, feeling the occasional hot breeze coming in behind them. These days, however, the temperature is starting to rise. The Bruins were briefly pushed out of the division lead thanks to the Ottawa Senators' overtime win against the Montreal Canadiens on Friday night. They reclaimed it on Saturday...

Ty Anderson: Bruins smash Leafs 8-0 behind Rolston's four-point night

Call it a throwback night at the TD Garden. The 39-year-old Brian Rolston had four points (the first time he's put up a four-spot in a Bruins uniform since Feb. 23, 2003), Milan Lucic put a major beatdown on Mike Komisarek, and the B's hung an eight-spot on the Toronto Maple Leafs. Yeah, quite a night indeed. But you had a feeling that'd be the case when the Leafs...

Mike Komisarek Better Off Staying Away From Milan Lucic Next Time (Video)

The Bruins are beating up the Maple Leafs in pretty much every way possible on Monday night, and the rout is on. NESN Nation's Dan Duquette caught up with Lincoln -- a Bruins fan and Army vet -- while taking in the game from Miller's Ale House. See what fighting tips Lincoln had for the Leafs next time they dare take on the B's. Join NESN Nation: In-game home page | Twitter | Facebook

Travis Yost: Just Not Good Enough: Ottawa Dropped by Toronto at Scotiabank Place

Make sure to follow Travis on Twitter and Facebook! -- With the Boston Bruins grabbing back the Northeast divisional lead earlier on Saturday, many figured Ottawa would come out firing on home ice against rival Toronto. Wrong. For the third game in a row, Ottawa was stuck in a malaise against a team far below them in the standings. Toronto didn't play exceptional hockey...

Bruins Live Blog: B's Look to Build Off Win Over Flyers, Continue Domination of Toronto to Stay Atop Northeast Division

8 a.m. ET: The Bruins snapped their season-high four-game losing streak on Saturday with a 3-2 shootout win over Philadelphia. That put them back into first place in the Northeast Division, and they stayed there when Toronto beat Ottawa 3-1 later that night. Don't expect the Bruins to show much gratitude to the Maple Leafs, though. Boston hosts the Leafs on Monday, needing another...
