Hockey hasn’t been part of ESPN networks since 2004-05. Did any of you notice or care? No? Didn’t think so. Well, we are here to put hockey back on the map for you guys because Russia’s KHL (Kontinental Hockey League) has officially signed with ESPN to have select games streamed live on ESPN3. To celebrate hockey’s (kind of) return to ESPN we bring you 84 sexy KHL ice girls!

According to the KHL website:
The Kontinental Hockey League has reached an agreement with the US sports TV channel ESPN to broadcast games in the 2012/2013 KHL Championship. The games will be shown on the ESPN3 channel in the United States, Territories of the United States, and also in Great Britain.
The KHL was formed back in 2008 and was Russia’s attempt to put their own pro hockey league on the map. In four short years this might be their big break. NHL stars who have signed with the fledgling league include: Alex Ovechkin, Pavel Datsyuk, Ilya Kovalchuk and Evgeni Malkin.
According to ESPN:
Alex Ovechkin made headlines recently when he suggested he might just stay in the KHL if he doesn’t like the CBA agreed to by the NHL and NHLPA.
Could the KHL be the demise of the NHL? Will more superstars continue to join the KHL during this lockout? Only time will tell, but once they get there it will be hard to come back after seeing these insane Russian ice girls.
