Howdy from beautiful Ottawa. All week it's been RibFest downtown in the market. Great event.
Yesterday was not a good day for the Senators on-ice management in my opinion. They failed to deal Dany Heatley which now may mean he stays with the Senators. Whether he shows up to training camp is a blog for another day, however I will say this...if the Senators gave partial blame to distractions...

Can't believe Philly gave up Lupul, Sbisa, two 1st rounder's and a conditional 3rd to Anaheim for Pronger who has all but 1-yr left on his contract. Howdy from Ottawa. Huge news today regarding Heatley. Looks like I was right about LA Kings assistant GM Ron Hextall's comments the other day dismissing his team's interest in Heatley. They ARE interested.
An offical LA Kings source broke Heatley talks on Twitter this afternoon. Here is the following tweet;
