The Colorado Avalanche on Monday confirmed that it plans to keep 18-year-old rookie centers Matt Duchene and Ryan O'Reilly on the roster through Friday's 10th game of the season, against against Carolina at home.

So far the move to sign goaltender Craig Anderson has paid off for the Colorado Avalanche, who will wrap up a lengthy seven-game road trip Wednesday against the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center.
