DENVER — Canes defenseman Tim Gleason was on the ice today at the Pepsi Center for the morning skate but will not play tonight against the Avalanche.

Darcy Tucker is seriously hurt, after being hit from behind into the glass by Carolina’s Tuomo Ruutu. No penalty on the play.
Tucker has been motionless on the ice for several minutes now but appears to be conscious. I have not seen him move his legs since going down. Let’s think good thoughts for him.
