Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews missed his fourth straight game because of concussion-like symptoms, sitting out Friday night against Montreal.
Toews hasn't resumed skating after a crushing open-ice hit from Vancouver's Willie Mitchell on Oct. 21. Toews is listed as day-to-day.
After Friday, the Blackhawks don't play again until Thursday night at Phoenix...

SEABROOK BACK:
Looks like Brent Seabrook will return for tonight's contest at Nashville. According to some fine reporting from our friend Tim Sassone at the Daily Herald, Seabrook's concussion symptoms were apparently less severe than those of Captain Jonathan Toews, who remains out likely until next week at the earliest.

The health status of Jonathan Toews and Brent Seabrook will be the first thing Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville is asked about after practice Wednesday. Of course, we may get our answer sooner if either Toews or Seabrook is on the ice for the workout.
Quenneville is probably getting as tired of the Toews/Seabrook questions...
