Howdy from Ottawa.
Congrats go out to Sens prospects Jared Cowen and Patrick Wiercioch (above) as yesterday they were formally invited to the World Juniors development camp. Hopefully both make the team this coming December. It would give Cowen a chance to show us his knee is 100% (he won't see any scrimmage action in this coming camp due to the knee) and Wiercioch a chance to showcase why some Sens fans believe he could make the Senators this season or next.
Chris Neil spoke the other day about how "...if Dany shows up at camp and he's ready to go, we'd welcome him back." If you recall, and Neil should have, just two months ago (but after he signed for $8 mil.) the same Chris Neil said this about Dany... ``He's a guy who was under contract for a long time and he's paid very well . . . but if he doesn't want to be here, let him go and do his own thing.'' Neil also said ``...you would like to think that if they're able to move (Dany)...
