The Hockey Herald:
The troubled goalie showed up late for practice yesterday after spending the all-star break in Las Vegas and may have played his final game in an Ottawa uniform.
Emery could be facing an indefinite suspension without pay after he showed up at the rink at 4:04 p.m. yesterday for the club's 4 p.m. practice.
Could Emery be on his way out now? The question still remains how many teams would take a chance on Emery?

He's a major liability until he proves he can play well consistently. Should that come to fruition, Ottawa would be inclined to keep him for their Cup run, since Gerber has been shaky as well. Should he continue to play like a flake and be a bad teammate his trade value will fetch little more than a few pylons and a bag of pucks.

if only i made $14,705.88 A DAY... though he prolly dropped much more than that in vegas.

I really like Ray Emery, but he really blew it! The only team that is going to want him is a team that is drowning like Atlanta.

Senators looking to trade Ray Emery
Ray Emery once looked like a goaltender destined for great success in the NHL. The seemingly lone controversial figure in the NHL had the swagger and tone of someone with a little more than a chip on their shoulder. Unfortunately for Emery, he never seemed to get over the hump of backup goaltender.
