The Phoenix Coyotes beat the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 with an overtime goal by Adrian Aucoin. Aucoin beat Chris Osgood from the top of the left circle on a soft shot that Osgood flapped at with his stick, the puck deflected off the shaft of his goal stick and ended up in the back of the net. Aucoin was as surprised as Osgood when it went in.
