Adam Foote will be the Avalanche’s captain for 2009-10. Just got word. Milan Hejduk and Paul Stastny are the assistant captains.
As I said just last night, I think Footer was/is the worthy choice, and it’s a well-deserved honor for No. 52.

Avalanche held pre-camp physicals and other testing this morning at the Pepsi Center. Camp starts tomorrow morning at 9 sharp. I’ll have a couple of stories in tomorrow’s paper.
