Penner takes advantage of clean slate in Edmonton

He was the center of the Brian Burke-Kevin Lowe feud two seasons ago. He was the main resident in Craig MacTavish's doghouse last season. There were juniors and college seniors and puck movers and stay-at-homes. There were Canadians and Americans and Russians and there were studs and there were duds.It is important to remember that there...

The Bruins begin their busy Halloween weekend this afternoon, with a matinee matchup against the Edmonton Oilers at TD Garden. The Oilers (7-5-1) are just three seasons removed from an improbable Stanley Cup run, a run that ended with a Game 7 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2006 Finals. Since then, Edmonton has [...]

Edmonton Oilers Defensive Core Needs to Hold The Fort

Disjointed. Indecisive. Panicked. Young. These are all words to describe the Oilers blue line in games when both Sheldon Souray and Lubomir Visnovsky are out. Hell, when Steve Staios is on the shelf it's even worse...Read the full article on Bleacher Report...
