Coming into this year's Stanley Cup playoffs, Martin Biron was an unproven quantity when it came to playoff hockey. At 30 years of age, he had never played in an NHL playoff game. Since the playoffs have started Biron has played spectacular in net and is the cornerstone behind the Flyers push through the postseason. So far he has a 6-4 record and 1 shutout to his credit. After Monday nights 3-2 win over the Habs I really believe now that the Flyers will be headed to the Eastern Conference Finals. Comcast Sportsnet in Philadelphia and TSN are both reporting that Montreal coach Guy Carbonneau has decided to bench goaltender Carey Price in favor of backup Jaroslav Halak for tonight's game 4. Carbonneau said he would announce the starting goaltender just prior to the start of the game.
