Olaf Kolzig the 14 year veteran goaltender today decided to call it a career. Some of Kolzig's acomplishments were being nominated to the all star game twice,as well as being named  the Vezina winner in 2000. Kolzig also ranks 21st all time for wins with 303. But Kolzig's biggest acomplishment on the ice was being named the winner of the King Clancy memorial trophy...

Rookie Nazem Kadri scored once in regulation and once in the shootout as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in pre-season action Tuesday night.

Olaf Kolzig, who spent last season with the Tampa Bay Lightning but who is best-known as a long-time netminder for the Washington Capitals, made his retirement official on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old former Vezina Trophy winner, who spent most of his career with the Washington Capitals, has 303 career wins.
