I stumbled across NHL Home Ice blogs today and saw that they recently chatted with Paul Stastny during USA's Olympic orientation camp. - I believe the Avs are still trying to move one or more of their older, higher-paid defensemen (though not Adam Foote, he’s got a no-trade). Scott Hannan is one of them I believe, and while he also has a no-trade clause, the Avs could ask him to waive it if they feel they get the right deal. Stay tuned.

I will be previewing all 30 NHL clubs. I will be looking at their available salary cap room, the additions and deletions from the 2008-09 rosters, and where I think they will stack up in their division and conference for the 2009-10 season.
