MVN:
The Washington Capitals 2009/10 season is just two days away from being underway. Ok, not for real, but for fake. The Caps kick off their preseason this Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres. Hockey is almost back, and for some of us who watched the Redskins/Giants game, well, exhale slowly, the Caps are almost back as well. Dispatch from Day One of Training Camp 2009
Count me as one who didn't arrive at day one of training camp imagining I'd have to research Deep Vein Thrombosis. A Shootout Determines Duchesne Cup Scrimmage 2
Tuesday brought us "A" vs. "C" in the Duchesne Cup competition, and the first training camp scrimmage appearance by Alexander Ovechkin. In what may well have been foreshadowing of opening night in Beantown...
