This wasn't a choke. They were beaten by the better team. Lundqvist won three games for them with no offensive support. The Rangers had a grand total of ONE shot on goal in the third period. How can a team win with an offense like that?

As a Caps fan, I loved the comeback, but was disgusted with the end of the Devils game. Now that is what you call a collapse on a monumental scale. And it now means that the Caps have to play the Pens.

Washington Capitals' winger Donald Brashear won't be a game 7 participant, so sayeth the NHL's Enforcement Czar, Colin Campbell. Brashear this afternoon was suspended by the league for six games for his late hit at center ice Sunday on Ranger's center Blair Betts. Betts suffered a broken orbital bone from the hit.

Rangers fall in Game 7 to Cap collapse
