Richard Zednik suffers cut jugular in Buffalo
Harking back to memories of 1989, Buffalo once again witnessed the scariest injury in hockey as Richard Zednik suffered a cut jugular vein after being hit in the neck by falling teammate, Olli Jokinen on Sunday night. Players immediately waved for training personnel. As the trainers entered the ice, they waved for the stretcher, but it was not needed.
