  well he didn't shoot himself or beat anybody up in a bar.But nowadays you cannot embarass yourself privately,even if you are a fourth rate athelete in a four athelete race.Is the NHL under so much pressure from t.v. and ads that it has to police what is aired by local stations?I personally won't watch more hockey because he was suspended.I now have to replace him on my fantasy roster.

  What Avery did was cheap... but at the same time... big deal. He has a right to be mad (or jealous) that the Calgary player is dating his ex and what a perfect way to get the game going on the ice. Although ruthless, it was clever.

  What is the world coming too. NFL players get in trouble almost on a daily bases and very little happens to them. Sean Avery makes a statement about his ex being sloppy seconds and the whole world comes down on him. She probably is sloppy seconds, thirds, fourths and who knows how many more. Probably even a gold digger!! Come on people, Sean didn't kill anyone, didn't get busted for drugs or DUI, He simply stated a fact or his opinion about an ex female. How many guys in this world can honestly say they never said the exact same words about some ex in their lives. Put the man on the ice and lets play hockey... Next time he comes to Nashville put him on the ice and our very own Jordan TOO TOO can punch his lights out but to suspend him for that comments is beyond stupidity.....

  all i can say is Avey is a pussy on and off the ice. If he is going to talk cheap he should be able to back it up on the ice. As i said he is a pussy!
