Emery

Tonight @ 7pm, the Flyers take to the ice of South Philadelphia in the hopes of stretching their 4 game winning streak to 5.  Underlying themes include the return of the wounded (JVR, Briere), the debut of a rookie d-man (Bartulis), and umm... what was the other one...?  OH YEAH.  Ray Emery facing his former team for the first time.  You know, those Ottawa Sens who got tired of his on/off ice antics and as a result, bought him a one way ticket to Russia.  One way until the Flyers came a' callin'.  Now the "Rayzor" is off to a great start for the Orange & Black (.922 SV%, 2.27 GAA) and more than likely will use the confines of his new home to get a "told ya so" win against the Senators.  The problem with this subplot is it really isn't as super juicy as it seems.  Emery still has a bunch of friends up North and his former GM/Coach Bryan Murray thinks he's a really talented goalie.  Laliberte will get the scratch due to the sudden plethora of healthy skaters.  If I'm not mistaken, you can purchase a pretzel tonight at the Wach. for a dollar.  Enjoy.
