If there was every evidence that fighting BELONGS in the NHL and serves a PURPOSE it's this video. To a non-hockey fan most hockey fights look pointless. In this brawl you can see the raw emotion coming out of every guy on the ice. You can see literally the hatred on each of their faces for the other guy. It was building up for a long time, it finally boiled over and what you have is the video above. Great, great, great stuff..........

I'm so glad Gary Bettman has managed to virtually eliminate this stuff from the NHL. It was so... what's the word I'm looking for? Oh yeah, "entertaining". Nope, no room for that in a dying sport.
