via the Boston Herald, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara suffered an undisclosed injury late in the second period of the Bruins-Blue Jackets game at Nationwide Arena and will not return. It appeared Chara incurred some sort of lower body malady when he fell awkwardly while trying to protect the puck from a forechecking Antoine Vermette during a Bruins power-play.
