Line 4 winger Adam Burish got placed on injured reserve on Thursday. Burish broke his hand in Tuesday’s six to nothing loss to the Florida Panthers. Steve Ott who was placed on injured reserve with a hip injury was activated and called up prior to Friday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center.
The Dallas Stars have been 0-4-0 since Phillip Larsen got called up following Alex Goligoski’s injury on last Friday’s loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Trevor Daley may be the best defensive defender, but I believe Goligoski has the best work ethic among Dallas defender.
Goligoski’s absence has shown since the work ethic of the Dallas Stars defenseman has declined significantly in with Alex Goligoski’s presence as an absence.
I realize Glen Gulutzan likes coaching aggressively. The Dallas Stars penalty killing has taken a major step back without Goligoski though so maybe Dallas should be more conservative when trying to avoid pena...
