Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee Admirals surrendered a pair of power-play tallies and dropped their second straight game by a 5-3 score to the Texas Stars on Sunday afternoon at the Bradley Center. The loss was the second straight for the Admirals after they earned points in six consecutive games to begin he year.
Texas winger Tomas Vincour broke a 3-3 tie with just 3:35 to play with a cannon of a slapshot that got by Ads netminder Jeremy Smith.
The Ads jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when rookie defenseman Ryan Ellis unloaded on a slap shot from the top of the right circle just 2:23 into the game. Mark Van Guilder and Ryan Flynn assisted on the play.
