Via Paul and Yahoo Sports’ Sean Leahy, Aftonbladet’s Tomas Ros reports that the Red Wings have signed Fabian Brunnstrom to a try-out, with Brunnstrom having turned down a contract offer from HV71 Jonkoping (and Farjestads BK) in the process.
Brunnstrom’s been asked whether he’d return to the Eliteserien all summer long, but the former Dallas Star and Toronto Maple Leaf’s stated repeatedly that he wants to try to find an NHL job.
