With 1:27 remaining in their game against the Anaheim Ducks, and trailing 4-3, Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau called timeout to draw up how his team might go about tying the game in order to send it to overtime.  Surprisingly, Boudreau’s plans didn’t include resident superstar Alexander Ovechkin.

Ovie clearly didn’t care for being left on the bench to sit and watch his teammates try and tie things up against the Ducks, and as the Boudreau makes his way past the Washington captain, Ovechkin can be seen muttering the phrase “fat f–k,” a derogatory remark most obviously aimed at his coach and his ample size.

Video follows the jump…

The Caps went on to knot things up at 4-4 on a Nikolas Backstrom goal, then grabbed the OT win on another goal by Backstrom at 2:18 of the extra frame, making Boudreau’s decision to sit his best player the right one, this time at least.
