On this Thanksgiving weekend, I wanted to share with you five things that I am thankful for:
(5) Din-Din: There is nothing better than not being able to move after a holiday dinner. Thanksgiving is the only holiday where a nap after dinner is part of the holiday tradition.
(4) Barry Brust: Brought in as a back-up to the back-up for the Sens minor league team, the Binghamton Senators, Brust has been a saviour for the B-Sens and has earned the respect of many with his play as of late. And he also knows how to take care of business … RESPECT!
(3) Family: Thanksgiving is all about family. Seeing one another, laughing together, creating memories, and being there for each other. And beating my brother at football!
(2) Hockey: To the fastest game in the world, pure entertainment and beautiful magic on ice. Thanks Hockey.
(1) Alfie: Could I be thankful for anything else then our captain, Daniel Alfredsson. He is the longest-serving captain in the NHL, has over a 1,000 games played, over 1,000 points, and is the leader of our team on and off the ice. Thanks Alfie.
