Ducks goaltender Dan Ellis was named the third star of the week. Ellis posted a 2-0-0 record while sporting a 1.21GAA and .964 save percentage. Todd Marchant – who missed the last couple of games with the flu – was back on the ice for practice today. Francois Beauchemin was held out of practice today. According to Eric Stephens, Ducks head coach Randy Carlyle said that he expects Beauchemin to be able to practice Tuesday, and he was just held out for precautionary reasons. Ray Emery told Stephens that he is feeling better, but still is not comfortable yet. Lastly Stephens tweeted that Ducks GM Bob Murray told him that there will be some callups from Syracuse. Stephens noted that he expects Kyle Palmieri to be among the players recalled. Follow @DucksAndCover on twitter for the latest news & notes surrounding the Anaheim Ducks.
