Arron Asham signed a two-year, $2 million contract with the New York Rangers over the weekend. The Pens re-signed him last June at a rate of $775,000 for one year of service, but the front office did not offer him anything this offseason. During his two year tenure with the Penguins, he tallied 10 goals and 17 assists.

Asham  had previously played for the Islanders, Devils, Canadiens, and Flyers. Now that he has signed for the Rangers, he will have played for every team in the Atlantic division!

Thanks for your time Arron, but best of luck playing us in the future. Go Pens!
