The Colorado Avalanche have signed forward Jarome Iginla to a three-year contract worth $16 million, reports TSN.com. In 78 games with the Boston Bruins in 2013-2014, Iginla scored 30 goals and added 31 assists. Iginla, 36, has 560 goals and 607 assists for 1167 points in 1310 career games with the Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and Bruins. Iginla, originally selected by the Dallas Stars in the first round (11th overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft,  has won the Maurice Richard Trophy (2002, 2004), the Art Ross Trophy (2002) and is a six-time All-Star.
