Matt Kalman at NHL.com reports that the recent string of healthy scratches are not sitting well with Brian Boyle... "I'm trying not to think about anything, really, honestly. I'm just trying to come work every day and work as hard as I can because it's ... I've said it before, I didn't play as well as I think I could've, but I know I can be a good player and effective player in this League and on this team. It's infuriating sitting out, it's awful. And it's pissing me off a lot." ..it's too bad Boyle didn't play with this kind of emotion and anger earlier this year because he'd likely still be in the line-up. ...it's good that Boyle's angry. Any player who's a healthy scratch should be. Hoping he channels it the right way and can be affective when he gets back into the line-up. And he will get back into the line-up. ...seen a lot of Rangers fans wanting to trade Boyle, Why in the world would you want to trade away depth when the Rangers finally have it? John Tortorella addressed the Boyle situation earlier today... "When Brian gets in, like I said, I hope he never lets me put myself in this decision again. Again, I don't make the decisions on the lineup, they do. I believe Brian will be a big part of it. I just don't know when I change the lineup. It depends on what goes on with the players in each game." Remember to follow me on Twitter & Facebook or e-mail me at nyrfan94@yahoo.com.
