Pro Sports Daily:
Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews skated for the first time in nearly three weeks Thursday.
Toews, who has been sidelined the past eight games due to a suspected concussion, took to the ice for the first time since Feb. 19.
He skated prior to the team's practice, which Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville called a "big first step."
Quenneville said that while Toews felt good, there is no timetable for his return.
Toews, who was injured in a game against St. Louis, has 29 goals and 28 assists in 59 games.
