The Chicago Blackhawks will be without one of their veteran mainstays for Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Blues. Forward Nick Foligno, attending to a personal matter, missed practice Tuesday and won't suit up Wednesday.

Changes Up Front

With Foligno out of the lineup, Taylor Raddysh will draw back into the forward group after two games as a healthy scratch. After scoring 20 goals last season, it's been a disappointing 2023-24 campaign for the 26-year-old. Raddysh has just 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 70 games and hasn't cracked the score sheet since March 23.

Elsewhere among the forward group, Lukas Reichel appears set for an opportunity on the first line alongside Connor Bedard and Philipp Kurashev.

Connor Murphy Not Quite Ready

The Blackhawks expect defenseman Connor Murphy to return soon, but it won't happen Wednesday against the Blues. Dealing with a long-term groin injury since mid-January, Murphy will sit out one more game as he targets a return to the lineup on Friday against the Nashville Predators.

Chicago sent youngster Wyatt Kaiser to the AHL's Rockford IceHogs on Monday, necessitating a lineup alteration on the blue line for Wednesday's contest. Veteran Jarred Tinordi will draw back into the defensive group when the Blackhawks wrap up their season series against the Blues.
