Blackhawks Prospects Continue To Produce At A High Clip

Whether it was Colton Dach’s four goals in two games, or Gavin Hayes continuing his recent tear, the Chicago Blackhawks pipeline continues to see copious amounts of production coming from its prospects at every level. Today’s will clump review how they’ve done through the past week

College Prospects Continue to Climb

Frank Nazar likely was the biggest riser in the last week adding a goal and an assist in what was a brutal weekend for Michigan hockey and injuries. Landon Slaggert had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over Minnesota on Friday, giving him 13 points (9-4) on the season. Oliver Moore, didn’t record any points against Slaggert and the Fighting Irish and neither did teammate and fellow Blackhawks prospect Sam Rinzel. Rounding it out, Boston University’s Ryan Greene posted three points (1-2) in their weekend sweep of Maine. Greene has been on quite the heater himself, with six points (3-3) in five straight games.

Nazar is on a seven-game point streak with a run of 12 points (4-8) in that span.

OHL Blackhawks Continue to Pile up Points

So who’s it going to be? Gavin Hayes? Nick Lardis? Martin Misiak? Paul Ludwinski? Lardis added four more points and has 14 goals in 16 games. Hayes now has 24 points (14-10) in 19 games and Ludwinski has 21 points (8-13) in 18 games. Misiak has 19 points (9-10) in 20 games and Alex Pharand rounds it out with five points (3-2) in 20 games. Of those five, Hayes, Lardis, and Ludwinski are all playing over a point-per-game pace while Misiak is just a point shy.

Dach Tearing it Up For Rockford

Colton Dach buried four goals in two games, helping him to six points (4-2) in eight games so far. Drew Commesso bounced back after a couple tough outings with a 22-save performance in Rockford’s 3-1 win over Iowa on Sunday.

The IceHogs, for their part, snapped a four-game losing streak after taking a pair from Iowa.

Maybe the Blackhawks could do the same, too?
