Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was fined $10,000 for criticizing the officiating in Tuesday's game against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Quenneville was livid that officials did not call a penalty on Phoenix's Raffi Torres after he delivered a shoulder-to-head hit on Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa.

Hossa was taken off the ice on a stretcher and transported to the hospital for treatment. He has been ruled out for Thursday's Game 4 against Phoenix and no timetable has been given for his return.

Quenneville called the officiating a "disgrace" and called Torres leaping check a "brutal hit." Torres has been suspended indefinitely pending a league hearing Friday.

The Coyotes carried a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series entering Game 4 in Chicago.
