The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed defenseman Nick  Boynton to a 1 year deal. Last year Boynton played in 49 games for the Blackhawks. He had 1 goal and 7 assists for a total of 8 points. He also had a +/- of +5 for the season. He also appeared in 3 playoff games for the Blackhawks with 0 points and a +/- of +2. This solidifies the Blackhawks’ defense and very well may take the spot away from one of the younger defenseman that are trying to make the team.
