Chicago Blackhawks right wing Patrick Sharp will be sidelined for three to four weeks with an upper body injury.
Sharp netted his 20th goal of the season early in the first period on Sunday against the Central Division rival Detroit Red Wings, but left the contest shortly thereafter.
Sharp, who has 20 assists in 42 games this campaign, recorded 34 goals and 37 assists for a career-high 71 points last season.

Patrick Sharp’s injury may be the decline of the Chicago Blackhawks in the West
It was a two-team jostle in the Central Division while fans of both the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings wondered when the Nashville Predators were going to thrust in the thick of things.

Quenneville Sees Opportunity With Sharp Out
Coach Joel Quenneville, among others, won't dwell on the fact that Patrick Sharp is out for 3-4 weeks with an upper-body injury.
In fact, he feels as if it will force the team to tighten things up, fix some areas of their game and welcomes the adversity. The challenge isn't new for Joel Quenneville, who coached the Blackhawks to their four Stanley Cup in 2010 and saw Adam...
