One of the league's worst cheap-shot artists, Daniel Carcillo, was suspended indefinitely after a brutal hit on Tom Gilbert. The play occurred when the two were racing for a puck and Carcillo can be seen shoving Gilbert from the goal line into the end boards. Gilbert was hurled foward and hit the end boards and needed to be tended to on the ice.
