Selected in the second round of the 2022 NHL Draft, the forward scored 34 points in 47 games this season for OHL Kingston.

Add another forward to the Chicago Blackhawks pipeline. The team signed prospect Paul Ludwinski to a three-year, entry-level contract on Saturday. His contract runs through the 2025-26 season with a $931,666 salary cap hit.

The 18-year-old scored 34 points (nine goals, 25 assists) in 47 games this season for the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. His 25 assists rank second on Kingston's team. He scored 77 points (25 goals, 52 assists) in 114 career games for Kingston, which failed to qualify for the OHL Playoffs.

Ludwinski (second round, No. 39 overall ) joins defenseman Kevin Korchinski (first round, No. 7 overall) among members of Chicago's 2022 draft class to sign with the Blackhawks. Chicago acquired the pick to select Ludwinski in the Alex DeBrincat trade with the Ottawa Senators.

Korchinski's team, the Seattle Thunderbirds, is among the favorites to win the Western Hockey League and make a run at the Memorial Cup.
