With their brief skid in the past, the Chicago Blackhawks are poised to begin another winning streak. Fresh from a three-day break, the Blackhawks regrouped to win 2-1 in a shootout over Columbus on Thursday. "For us to come out and get two points, it's a good confidence boost," Chicago's Patrick Kane told the NHL's official website. "It's good to feel a win again." Kane set up defenseman Johnny Oduya's first goal in 40 games and added the decisive score in the shootout for the league-leading Blackhawks, who hold a four-point lead over surging Anaheim in the Western Conference. "I thought we got back on track (Thursday),"...

Patrick Kane scores sick 360-backhand goal

Already leading 7-1 on the Dallas Stars, Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane decided to put on a show.  Coming down on a two-on-two he didn’t have much to do other than exactly what he did.  He skated towards the middle of the ice acting like he was going to cut across the tops of the circles, then threw on the breaks and busted out a spin move and then fired the puck short...

Another typical Patrick Kane SO goal and the game winner against Columbus. To the goalies out there, how do you stop it?

Patrick Kane undresses Sergei Bobrovsky in shootout

I’m pretty sure the shootout was created specifically for guys like Patrick Kane and Pavel Datsyuk.  There’s not a whole lot a goalie can do on this, even though Kane lost control of the puck, he still dangled Bobrovsky.  Bobrovsky has been playing really well for the past month, but he didn’t have a chance to stop Kane.  The goal gave the Blackhawks another win in a shootout...
