The Blackhawks have traded minor league forward Brandon Segal to the Tampa Bay Lightning for future considerations. Segal has scored 13 goals, 12 assists along with adding 63 penalty minutes in 53 games with the Rockford IceHogs this season. The 28 year old has appeared in 92 NHL games with the Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, and Tampa Bay Lightning over three seasons, recording 11 goals and 11 assists in his NHL career. Also, the Rockford IceHogs have acquired Matt Fornataro from the Norfolk Admirals. Fornataro, 25, has yet to make his NHL debut. He has spent the last three seasons with the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL, appearing in 161 games while compiling 33 goals, 52 assist along with a plus-8 rating.
