The Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday traded forward Peter LeBlanc to the Washington Capitals in exhange for future considerations. In addition, the Blackhawks' AHL affiliant, the Rockford IceHogs, acquired Mathieu Beaudoin from the Hershey Bears in exchange for future considerations. Beaudoin, 28, appeared in 32 games this season Hershey, scoring three goals and adding seven assists. The Bears are the AHL affiliate of the Capitals. LeBlanc, 24, recorded 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 34 games with the IceHogs this season.

The Capitals got LeBlanc from Chicago in exchange for future considerations. The 24-year-old has four goals and eight assists in 34 games this season with Rockford of the American Hockey League.
