The Columbus Blue Jackets had two players go down with injuries Thursday night, with defenseman Marc Methot suffering a broken jaw and right wing Jared Boll sustaining a broken foot.
Methot was hit in the right side of his face by a puck in the first period. After he went down briefly, he left the ice holding a towel to his face.
The 26-year-old Methot has one goal and six assists in 45 games this season.
Bell had one goal, one assist and 89 penalty minutes in 39 games.
