ST. LOUIS St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned defenseman Ian Cole to the Blues American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen. Cole, 22, has appeared in 17 games with the Blues this season posting five points (one goal, four assists) and 12 penalty minutes. The 61, 225-pound defenseman has also recorded three assists in 13 games with the Rivermen. The Ann Arbor, Michigan native was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 18th overall, of the 2007 Entry Draft.
